Boryeong Mud Festival is the annual summer festival which attracts the most foreign tourists from all over the world who come to Korea during summer to participate. This year, the festival will open from July 21st until July 30th.
The festival is just about playing with MUD, but in SO MUCH FUN way. They provide you many games and facilities which you can experience such as mud slides, mud wrestling, mud pool, mud prisons, mud soccer, and many more.

The festival is held in Daecheon beach, Boryeong city which is 2,5 hours away from Seoul. The festival area is just next to the beach so you can also swim in the beach after you get dirty with mud. They also have stage on the beach with performances from Kpop group and singers (scheduled) as they shoot you with water while you enjoy the music.

- Take bus from Seoul Central City Bus Terminal to Boryeong city (보령). After you arrive, take city bus no. 100 from the terminal to Daecheon Beach (30 mins trip, 10 mins bus interval). You can ask the ticket counter where to take bus.
- Take train from Yongsan Station to Daecheon Station. After you arrive, go out from the main entrance and you will see bus stop. Take city bus no. 100 to Daecheon Beach.
